    This Project is part of the Technical Cooperation Project agreed upon between the Philippine government and the Japanese government targeting small-scale and less creditworthy Water Districts for their service and management improvements. The scope of work of technical cooperation included the following:

    • The selection of 60 Water Districts
    • Profile preparation of each Water District
    • The preparation of Improvement Guidelines and the selection of Water Districts for the provision of work improvements
    • Preparation of facility improvement designs for the selected Water Districts
    • Provision of training programs, feedback and wrap-up seminars to the Water Districts

    CEST, Incorporated undertook the construction management and supervision for the construction works of ten of the Water Districts. CEST was also in charge of the preparation of the detailed engineering of the immediate projects.
